Fit Match Privacy Policy

Fitness Digital, LLC ("Fitness Digital," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Fit Match mobile application (the "App"). Fit Match connects people looking for fitness or sports coaching with trainers, coaches, and instructors. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Account information. We collect your email address and authentication information when you create or access an account. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase. We do not have access to your password in readable form.

Profile information. Depending on whether you use Fit Match as a member or trainer, you may provide your name, role, profile photos, birth month and year or birthdate, city, state, country, interests, biography, coaching specialties, certifications, education, years of experience, hourly rate, training locations, website, and other profile details.

Location information. We collect the city or service area you select and coordinates derived from that location so that we can show relevant nearby coaches and members. The App does not request or collect your device's live GPS location.

Content and activity. We collect information you create while using the App, including match requests and responses, skips, messages, client status, testimonials and ratings, blocks, reports, notification preferences, and related timestamps.

Photos and camera access. If you choose to add profile photos, the App may ask for permission to access your camera or selected photos. We use only the photos you choose to capture or upload for your Fit Match profile.

Device, usage, and diagnostic information. In release versions of the App, Google Firebase Analytics automatically collects app and session activity and device information. We also record your Fit Match user ID, user role, privacy-safe screen names, and whether a chat message was successfully sent. We do not send names, email addresses, message text, chat identifiers, or profile content in these custom analytics events. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports, error logs, diagnostic information, device and app information, your Fit Match user ID, and user role to help us identify and fix technical problems.

Notification information. If you allow notifications, we collect a device notification token, device platform, notification preferences, and token update time so that we can deliver messages and account activity notifications.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• create, authenticate, and manage accounts;
• provide profiles, coach discovery, matching, messaging, testimonials, notifications, and safety features;
• personalize results using interests, expertise, training preferences, age, and selected service area;
• operate, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the App;
• investigate reports, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our policies; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect users, Fitness Digital, and others.

3. How we disclose information

Other Fit Match users. Profile information and photos are visible to other signed-in users as needed for discovery and matching. Messages are visible to the people participating in a conversation. Testimonials, ratings, and the reviewer's displayed name may be shown to other signed-in users. Do not include sensitive information in content you choose to share.

Service providers. We use Google Firebase for authentication, database hosting, file storage, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and related infrastructure. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. Notification delivery may also involve Apple Push Notification service or Google Play services, depending on your device. If you contact us through our website, Formspree processes the information you submit through the contact form.

Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce our agreements.

Business transfers. Information may be disclosed as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising, and the App does not include advertising SDKs.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain account information and user content while your account is active and as needed to provide the App. You can delete your sign-in account from Account → Account Management → Delete account. To request removal of your profile, messages, testimonials, and other stored content, contact us as described below. After verifying the request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account, subject to reasonable time needed to complete the request.

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, enforcing agreements, protecting other users, or maintaining backup systems. Content shared with another user, such as messages or testimonials, may be retained where necessary to preserve that user's records, but we may remove or de-identify its connection to the deleted account. Crash and analytics data may be retained according to Google Firebase's configured retention periods.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can review and update profile information in the App.
• You can change notification preferences in the App or disable notifications in your device settings.
• You can revoke camera or photo access in your device settings.
• You can delete your sign-in account in the App and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of associated content.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International processing

Fitness Digital and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Children

Fit Match is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so that we can delete it. A parent or guardian should create and manage any account used to seek coaching for a child.

9. Third-party links and services

The App may contain links to trainers' websites or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are not controlled by Fitness Digital, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
